Tarawa in the Tropics

Hello Everyone
It's Sunday here in Tarawa - The weather is HOT lol, but we are COOL. I am feeling a lot better - I just still have wobbly legs. The DF can be a BOOOOOOOOOOGER. So far Doug hasn't been attacked by it. He a pretty tough old bird. But the mosquitoes like him a lot. We are having lots of fun. We try not to travel after dark because you can't see the dark skinned people and we are afraid we might run over one of them. They are a very happy, friendly people.
Marti & David And you would never guess, but one of the women here is a Kiribati style massage therapist. She does good not to have any formal taining - and she is free. lol Hope all goes well with your many trials.
Sharon & Harrve - we are not getting very brown. But I have lost 18 #'s; this morning I weighed in at 157.5 - it would be nice if I could stay that weight - but my appetite is coming out of hiding now. But the weight I'm losing Doug is gaining - he might be dark and pudgy if he isn't careful by the time we get home.
Kae & Family The Missionaries are just about back to their working level. This last week end they baptized 29. These people are begging to hear the gospel. We are soon going to open up another area for preaching the gospel. And just a few more baptism and we will have another stake here on Tarawa. Tell Mitchell and Hayden to get prepared. By the way, we met an Elder who could pass for Steve twin.
Scott & Jill We would love to here from you. I hope Sadie is doing well in school as well as Aurie, Jaxon and Kale. Keep up the fun times. We sure enjoyed our time with you. Our prayers are with you.
Kris & Family Sound like you had fun with Nic, I know we are all praying that this will work out so for your good. We fasted for everyone today. It's great to hear you are enjoying church.
