We're finally back online, thanks for Marti coming to our rescue and getting things running again (thanks, Marti!). Kris, we're SO proud of you getting straight A's, even with all the stress in your life---amazing. Good luck on the SLC job. We know you and Jessica were really disappointed the other opening didn't work out.....there must be a reason that will eventually come to light.
Jessica we're so sorry about your stepsister's very serious injuries and then Brian's mother having those health scares as well. We hope they are both doing much better now.
Harve had another setback when he injured his leg on July 9th. His foot slipped when he was stepping off a ladder; he said he didn't fall, but scraped his leg against the well casing. It didn't bleed and we kept it treated with hydrogine peroxide and betadine, plus ice packs for the swelling. Then 5 days later when we were in the Tri-Cities, it suddenly got real red and swollen. Bottom line is we spent 6 hours in the Pasco ER on 7/14, he got 2 antibiotic IVs that day and two the next day, 12 hous apart, then we came home late night on 7/16. Dr. Schmitt then put him on oral anticiotics (same RX as the IVs) and told him to elevate it most of the time. He's been pretty good about it and it's getting better. At the Pasco ER they thought it might be MERSA as well as cellulitis; but Dr. Schmitt got the results and it wasn't MERSA, t hank goodness.
Enough of this - hope you all are doing as well as possible. We love you all.
Love,
Sharon&Harve
